Billy Johnson

Billy Johnson was born January 14, 1954 in Minter, Alabama unto the late Ceasar and Georgina Johnson. He was the last of ten children born to this union. Billy was educated in Dallas County School System and graduated in 1972 from Southside High School.

1973 He moved to Birmingham where he married Barbara Walker and started a family. To this union was born (2girls and 2 boys), He also began a career in the Automotive Industries which not only became a passion but a ministry whereas, he touches many lives through love, compassion, help, labor, words of encouragement and knowledge.

Billy Johnson confessed his faith and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church Minter, Alabama until he moved to Birmingham. He continued his spiritual growth and faith until his untimely death.

 Billy was proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers Zeddie and Ceasar Johnson  

Billy leave to cherish his memories Barbara A Johnson, two daughters: Nekechi D Johnson, LaTorsha (Jacques) McDaniel, Two sons: Billy Johnson Jr. Comfort (Angelica) Johnson all of Birmingham, Seven grandchildren, Four Sisters: Rebecca, Lena, Lillie Mae and Essie Mae, Three Brothers: Jerry, Tom (Charlet), Lee Mac (Brenda) alone with a host of nieces and nephews.

My dearest father, thank you for the many life lessons, thank you for being my solid rock, my giant. Thank you for the wisdom and knowledge you shared, thanks you for the late-night phone calls and the love that you showed and exhibited through your strength. I will forever love you. My heart was broken to pieces when you left. However, in your leaving you were still teaching me something about life. It never seems to amaze me the knowledge that’s was packed in such a small frame. Love always, Your baby girl Torsha
