Jessica Shae Williams was born on March 20, 1981 to parents, Overseer Jimmy and Mother
Cornelia Williams. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elder John Henry and
Mother Corean Williams and Brother Union Lee and Sister Sammie Mae Moorer.
At an early age, Jessica became a member of the Purity Holiness Church of God, under the
leadership of the late Senior Bishop James Graves and the late Mother Mary Graves. Later, she
joined The Way of Salvation Cathedral of God (TWOS) under the leadership of Dr. Willie E.
Sanders, Sr. and the late Mother Bertha Sanders. Until her death, Jessica remained an active
member of TWOS, where she worked with the youth department and sang in the church choir.
She proudly testified that she was saved, sanctified, and Holy Ghost filled.
Jessica was a student in the Jefferson County School System. In 1999, she graduated from
Warrior High School as the Salutatorian. During her school years, Jessica participated in several
extracurricular activities, including the girl’s basketball team, volleyball team, varsity
cheerleader, and a member of the band’s color guard team.
Upon graduation, Jessica attended the University of Montevallo located in Montevallo, Alabama.
At the university, Jessica studied kinesiology due to her fondness for sports. Shortly after
college, Jessica began her career working in the medical field. During her career, she worked as
an admissions representative, surgery scheduler, and a medical billing representative. At the
time of her death, Jessica was employed with Parallon as a medical insurance follow-up
specialist.
As a single mother, Jessica did not conceal her desire to get married. Thus, on January 7, 2020,
Jessica was called to rest safely in the arms of the Groom.
She leaves to treasure her memories: son, DeAndre Corneilus (Neil) Williams-Harris; daughter,
