Katie Mae (Davis) Morgan

Katie Mae (Davis) Morgan, was born on February 26, 1928 to the late Reverend Joe and Flora Davis. She was reared at an early age by the late Guy DeJarnett.

She was married to Willie L. Morgan, Sr. She was the mother of four: Willie, Jr. (deceased), Benjamin "BJ" (deceased), Katherine and Michael.

She confessed Christ at an early age. As a member of Zion Star Missionary Baptist Church for many years, she was well known for her inspiring singing, Sunday school teaching and undeniable faith.

She transitioned on January 21, 2019, after 90 years of a well-lived life.

Katie leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Katherine Morgan of Birmingham; son, Michael (Barbara) Morgan of San Diego, CA; 5 grandchildren; Telecia Strickland, Katresa Morgan, LaShanda McNeal - Morgan, J'Michael Morgan and Ben Morgan. A host of other relatives and friends.
