Victoria Patrice George, born as the second of four siblings to Minnie Ruth Zortorres and Richard George, Jr. While growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, “Vicky,” affectionately called was always very quiet, witty, shy, deep thinker, and a lover of children and animals. She loved people, especially her family. Victoria attended Birmingham Public Schools, and attended Alabama A&M University, while later attending Southern Junior Business College. She was always one that didn’t mind lending a helping hand to anyone, no matter who they were. Vicky was employed with The Catholic Center of Concern, and later worked at Sitel. Vicky was a lover and writer of poetry. She loved to always cook, and was really the best cook of the four siblings. She always had a way of telling people just how she felt, but with such kindness and poise. Vicky believed in LOVE and GIVING. Vicky joined and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Mason City under the pastoring of Reverend A. M. Martin. She later joined New Hope Baptist Church under the pastoring of Pastor Gregory L. Clarke, where she presently was a member until her transition.
