Mrs. Angela Teresa Steele Hale was born on July
19, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Mr. Isaiah
Sanders, Jr., and Mrs. Mattiedale Sanders. She was adopted
by the late Deacon Isiah and Mother Rosie Sanders. She was
the oldest of eleven children. She was a devoted and beloved
secretary of MC for the Quartet Field. She departed this
earthly life to be with the Lord on Monday, July 8, 2024.
Angela dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was
baptized at Purity Holiness Church of God in Warrior,
Alabama.
Education
Angela attended school in the Jefferson County public school
system. She received numerous certificates and awards in the
field of Child Development and also in Food and Nutrition
from Auburn University in 1977. An 1988 graduate of RETS
School of Business and Technology, she received high honors
with a 3.84 GPA as a medical assistant. She was a pastor,
evangelist, and teacher. She was a gospel singer and recorded
multiple songs. She sung with the Spiritual White Robes in
Warrior, Voices of Inspiration in Warrior, and Angela Hale
and the Supreme Highlights in Birmingham.
Her Life
Angela was preceded in death by her late husband, Curtis C.
Hale; two fathers, Isaiah Sanders, Jr., and Isiah Sanders; two
mothers, Mattiedale Sanders and Rosie Sanders; and sister,
Rose Kelly.
She leaves to cherish: her handsome, devoted sons, Demetrius
(Kimberly) Steele, Cornelius Steele, and Maurice Mack; sister,
Vickie Ortiz; grandchildren, Anthony, Ernecia, Brittany,
Torrie, Nautica, Sanyiah, Talia, and Diamond; siblings, Ida
Austin, Bessie Brown, Toni Jones, Donna (John) Johnson,
Angela Byrd, Rhonda (Frederick) McClendon, Pamela
Sanders, Tiffany M. Sanders, Isaiah Frazier, Jeremiah Frazier,
and Kristie S. Cooks; and two special brothers, Willie Marsh & Willie Sanders Jr.
