Bessie Ann Kirksey proceeds in death her mother and father Alice Mary Chapman and Clarence Kirksey, three sons John Wayne Kirksey, Johnny Ray Kirksey, Gary Allen Kirksey; sister Lisa Chapman; two brothers Henry and George Chapman in a host of other relatives.

Bessie Ann Kirksey leaves to cherish her memories three sons Willie (Rosetta) Kirksey of Montgomery AL; Joseph (Shawnda)Kirksey, and Dennis Kirksey. Three daughters, Thelma Kirksey, Juanita Kirksey, and Cynthia Kirksey all of Birmingham AL. Three brothers Earnest Kirksey, James (Ophelia) Kirksey, and Kenneth Kirksey, one sister Mary Chapman, 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A traveling partner, Emma Jean, and a lifetime special friend Charles Dent.
