Dwight Lamar Cook was born January 31, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Tom B. Cook, Jr. and Alta S. Cook Mosley. He was educated in the Birmingham City Schools attending Jackson Elementary School and graduated from West End High School, Class of 1980. Dwight served in the United States Army, Frankfort, Germany. He was employed with the U.S. Steel and later became a certified nursing assistant.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Cook; Sons: Dwight Bolar (Tassie) of Atlanta, GA; Jarett Cook of Tuscaloosa, AL; Dearrione Cook of Birmingham, AL; Daughters: Keri Cook of Queens, NY; Jarmilla Korber of Bayreuth, Germany; Granddaughter: Anastacia Cook of Tuscaloosa, AL; Grandson: Tyrese Korber of Bayreuth, Germany; Loving mother: Alta Mosley of Birmingham, AL; Brothers: Carl (Yulinda) Cook of Suwanee, GA; Darryl Cook of Birmingham, AL; Maurice Perry of Birmingham, AL; Sister: Dawn Cook of Boston, MA; Uncles: Ray (Yvonne) Seay of Birmingham, AL; Donald (Marietta) of Birmingham, AL ; Aunts: Glenda Murray, Constance Peeples, Anita (Carlos) Crim, all of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunts, great uncles and friends.
