Eddie Lee Patton was born on October 2, 1939 to the union of the late Elijah ans Selena Patton.

Eddie worked at Applied Industrial Technologies for 43 years as a delivery driver.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife, Cassandra Patton; children, Valerie (John) Cowans, Connie Turner, Ronnie (Toni) Patton, Brian Hawkins, Reginald (Wayling) Miles, Jeromeo Jenkins and Tashima (Shaun) Shephard; two very special granddaughters, Tiffy Patton- Critton and Jaliyah Jenkins; 16 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; one brother, Ernest and Martha Patton of Huntsville, Alabama; one sister, Willie Mae Keene of Moody, Al; mother -in-law, Thelma Moorer; father-in-law, Joe Hawkins, Sr.;sisters-in-law,Felecia (ickey) Dunkins, Shannon Porter, Sarah Hawkins, Michelle Lee and Angela (Larry) Black; brother-in-law, Joe(Roxann) Hawkins; a very special friend, Ruben Harris; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
