Edmo David Martin was born to the late Mary Ann Martin on
June 9, 1963, in Selma, AL. Early in life, he accepted Christ at
Broad Street Missionary Baptist Church, Birmingham, AL. He
was educated in the Birmingham City School System and
graduated from A. H. Parker High School, where he obtained
skills in auto mechanics. This was his true passion, that led him
to becoming one of the best in town.
He’s preceded in death by his loving mother and grandmother:
Mary Ann Martin, and Addie Lee Wade. He leaves to cherish his
memories: Wife: Marilyn Austin; Birmingham, AL. Five Sisters
and One Brother: Lee “Peggy” Martin (Ronnie), Curtis Martin
(Wendy), Dorothy Hollings (Larry), Gloria Richardson, Barbara
Martin, and Pamela Smiley all of Birmingham, AL. Three Aunts:
Virginia Sims Pensacola, FL, Patricia Wade Birmingham, AL,
Rosemary Siler (Curtis) Birmingham, AL. Two Uncles: Fred
Martin, Jr. Selma, AL and Johnny Martin, Birmingham, AL. A
host of nieces, nephews, family, and special friends.
