Gail Williams

“AN ANGEL HAS GAINED HER WINGS”

Gail Jane “Angel” Williams was born on October 15, 1943 to the late Eddie Williams. Sr., and Julia Hopkins-Williams of Birmingham, Alabama.  She attended A.H. Parker High School. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Anthony Nile, Ronald (Darian) and Micheal Williams all of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers Thomas Charles (Gloria) Williams and Eddie Williams, Jr. (Mary); one caring and devoted sister Effie Vasser, all of Birmingham, Alabama.Gail also leaves to celebrate her life, three daughters, that she never had who meant the world to her, Robinette, Wendy, and Pamela.  Gail felt tremendously blessed to be able to spread love to ten grandchildren (Zanteigdra, Ronald, Ronnie, Tristan, Tierra, Darrius, Travoski, Taylor, Tyler, and Trinity) as well as her great-grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of loving nieces and nephews along with family and friends. Gail had confessed Christ at an early age and then felt compelled to reaffirm her confession in March of 2006. She departed this life in the care of the Hospice Compassus Care Staff of St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital, Birmingham, AL
