Mr. Harry Lerone Winston was born August 20, 1965 to Myrtle D. Winston and Harry J. Winston. He was educated in the Hueytown School System and received his degree from Lawson State Community College.
Many knew Harry, in the Bessemer School System as a Paraprofessional and a dedicated football, baseball, softball and basketball coach. He was also a Bus Driver and a mentor in the City of Bessemer. “Coach Winston”, as he was known loved and received love by many. He also worked at Bessemer Carraway for many years.
Harry Winston was preceded in death by: his mother, Myrtle D. Winston and grandparents Mrs. Roberta and James Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Father, Harry J. Winston (Debra) of Birmingham, Al; Grandmother, Mary Howard of Bessemer, Al; loving and devoted daughters: Shandrica Byrd Winston (Darnell), Demekia Winston (Henry), Jemese Winston, and Autumn Winston (Courtney) all of Bessemer, Al.
Three granddaughters: Ashanti Hambright, Amaria and Alyssa Johnson and one grandson: Jermaine Gilbert of Bessemer, Al.
One brother Antonor Winston (Loretta) of Bessemer, Al, and two sisters: Jamemia Smith (Carl) and Ethel Hayes (Roland) of Bessemer, Al. Two nieces: Iyuana Reed and Alicia Anger, three nephews: Jameis and Jonah Winston and Timothy Hayes all of Bessemer, Al. two Step-children Alex Banks and Kenyetta Banks Scott, special brothers: William (Frog), Kevin, Oscar and Rickey, as well as a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
