Ida Mae "China" Davis

Ida Mae Davis was born on December 20, 1944, to Ben and Mattie Mae Davis in Birmingham, Alabama. On Friday, July 1, 2022, Ida passed away at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mattie Davis; brothers, Johnny Lee and Earnest (Pop); sisters, Rita and Aretha; son, Ricky and grandson, Malik. She leaves to cherish her memory: a brother, Ezekiel (Carolyn) Hameen of Birmingham, AL; two loving daughters, Renita (William) Green of Lima, OH and Pamela (Antar) Kroninger of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren, Rayona, Remey “Raydiance”, Ralen, Ryan and Renia; seven great grandchildren that she loved dearly; a special cousin, Ann Ester and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. We know that the love she gave will be cherished memories and blessings to all who came in contact with Ida.
