Betty Jean Nelson - Powell, age 70, of Birmingham, passed away on April 24, 2017. Public viewing will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 1 -7pm at Serenity Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 12 Noon at 46th Street Baptist Church (Eastlake). Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.
