Rosie Brown Harris, age 73, departed peacefully from this earthly life on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Rosie was born on March 03, 1949, in Kimbrough, Alabama to the late Eddie Lee & Arcola Steel Brown. She resided in Wetumpka, Alabama. Rosie retired from the State of Alabama Department of Youth Services after a successful career as the Clerk Stenographer.
Rosie is survived by four children: Kimberly Harris Freeman
(Montgomery, AL), Samuel (Mary) Harris (Montgomery, AL), Marvin (MIMI) Harris (Springhill, FL), Mallory (Cortez) Johnson (Wetumpka, AL); sixteen grandchildren: Jacobi (Shekia) Ballard (Montgomery, AL), Torey Ballard (Springhill, FL), Tonique Ballard (Montgomery, AL), Vincent Postell (Montgomery, AL), Cherquita (De'Angelo) Jones (Montgomery, AL), Samuel (Christi) Harris (Wetumpka, AL), Mia Harris (Springhill, FL), Marvion (Debora) Harris (Riverview, FL), Lyza Shrumpert (Springhill, FL), Lamere Corley (Springhill, FL), Kharmelo Corley(Springhill, FL), Jazlyn Harris (Springhill, FL), Marshon Harris (Springhill, FL), Akira Murray (Wetumpka, AL), Kelsey Tucker (Wetumpka, AL), Kristian Tucker (Wetumpka, AL); sixteen great grand kids and three siblings: FanniePeters (Montgomery, AL), Alton Rogers (Montgomery, AL), Barbara Gordon (Hampton, VA). Rosie was preceded in death by her three siblings Alfcenia Williams (Montgomery, AL), Rev. Eddie Lee Brown (Montgomery, AL) and Henry Lee Brown (Montgomery, AL).
