Sherrie Cowans

Sherrie LaShon Cowans, 54 years old, of Birmingham, AL passed away at Brookwood Hospital, Birmingham, AL on October 31, 2021 at 5:30 am. Sherrie was born September 9,1967 in Birmingham AL To Charlotte Dean Golden and Will Winston, Jr. She was a member of Mt. Cannon Full Gospel Church for over 21 years ago. She served as a Usher and Greater for many years. She dedicated many hours to Mt. Cannon Full Gospel Church Joy ministries. Sherrie was committed to discipleship which included several small group studies. Sherrie was always ready to serve in any capacity. Sherrie was taught strong work ethnic as a child. She devoted 10 years to Collegiate Admission Retention Solution. Sherrie was given the nickname "sunshine" because she would spread sunshine in her work environment as well as with her individual clients. Sherrie was a loving and devoted mother to her 3 daughters, Tyne Patrice Cowans (Birmingham, AL) Teja Arianna Smith (Mobile, AL) and Jaidyn Charlotte Cowans (Birmingham, AL). Sherrie always select movie nights, girls night out or dining out as special days to spend time with her 3 daughters. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: lyne Patrice Cowans, Teja Ariana Smith and Jaidyn Charlotte Cowans. A loving brother Will Winston, Ill (Jennifer), A loving father Will Winston, JR ( Kathryn). Three nephews: Antwan Winston, Will Winston, IV, and Michael Winston. Two grand niece and nephew, Amari Winston and Yeshua Winston. A loving and spiritual aunt Ethel Mae Hampton for her unwavering faith and strength. A special thanks to Darlene Golden and Rosalind Golden. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends Cynthia Rodgers, God Mother Gloria Melton, Angela Holloway, Sandra Payne, and Evelyn Spencer.
